Reseacher who understands how to connect the dots
Since 2023, I have worked as a UX Researcher, where I have honed my skills in usability testing, recruiting the most suitable user testers, and experimenting with various methods to expand the test panel.
I'm curious and love to explore different areas that can benefit my research role. I am energised by social interaction and can work in multidisciplinary teams.

My journey
Take a glimpse into my journey from web development student to retailer to marketing assistant and UX Researcher. We all start somewhere, and we gain transferable skills from all walks of life. Here, I'll explain how I ended up in UX based on my former jobs and educational programs with lots of pictures and not too much text, I promise.

UX Researcher at EyeReply
I was hired part-time at EyeReply, while also holding other part-time jobs in customer service and volunteering at three conferences. Since October, I now work full time and look forward to grow in the field.

Expanding panel at Affecture
After graduating in June 2024, I had a 2-month internship as a Games User Researcher at Affecture, which gave me experience in expanding test panels - once a salesperson, always a salesperson.

Graduation
I graduated with an MSc in Information Studies from Aalborg University, where I studied ethnographic research, contextual inquiries, qualitative surveys, interviews, and usability studies.

My first UX Research job
During my time as a UX Research intern at GAMUCATEX, I had a lot of responsibilities and was in charge of long-term projects from start to finish. This confirmed that research is where I belong.

Marketing experience at an agency
My internship at Impact became my first white-collar job, where I was introduced to user journeys and data management. Working at an agency also made me more familiar with the industry's culture.

A problem solver from the start
At Ecigz, I managed independent work shifts across 14 shops, handling service, bookkeeping and product display. I created an intranet and onboarding guide, which led to a promotion to Marketing Assistant.

Gaining business knowledge
The Business Management AP gave me an understanding of the inner workings of a business - from PM to KPI - knowledge I now use in my work, creating insights across teams.

Learned to read the customer's needs
Working in a pet shop taught me how to converse with different types of people, observe and read their tone of voice and body language, and identify their needs. It served me well later in my UX Research job.

Joggling an active life and networking
During High School, I explored service industry jobs and IT-related courses. I also moved away from home, built new networks, and organised social gatherings for classmates, colleagues, and friends.

Web development background
In my teens, I knew I wanted to work with something creative and IT-related, so I studied web development (HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL).
I was introduced to readability, IA, and database management.
